"Our 200g Ritual Cacao Bullion Bars are lovingly handmade in our unit in Camberwell, London. These beautifully crafted bars are made by grinding Cacao Nibs into a smooth liquor, and pouring into our exclusive moulds. There is absolutely nothing added or taken out of our ceremonial-grade liquor, it’s 100% pure chocolate.

We have intentionally modelled our Cacao Bars on actual gold bars, so every time you make your brew, you are reminded that ceremonial-grade Cacao is worth its weight in nutritional gold.

ABOUT THE TSATSAYAKU ASSOCIATION

When you buy our ceremonial-grade Tsatsayaku cacao, you not only receive a bar of pure chocolatey love and goodness, you are also directly supporting an Association made up of 113 Kichwa and Mestizo families that is striving to produce and conserve ancestral cacao and provide a fair price to all its members. The cacao itself is grown in the traditional Kichwa or ‘Chakra’ method, which has a conscientious respect for the natural environment and seeks to preserve biodiversity

ASHANINKA vs TSATSAYAKU CACAO

Our Tsatsayaku Cacao is light, smooth and silky, making it the perfect introduction for those who are new to cacao. We find Tsatsayaku cacao is slightly less bitter than Asháninka cacao, and if you drink cacao regularly, you may start to notice distinctions in flavour, texture and how the cacao affects your meditation or shamanic journey.

Each cacao has its own personality and it's quite literally a matter of taste as to which cacao medicine suits you best! :) " - Ritual Cacao

History

Cacao has a long history of ceremonial and ritualistic use in the Aztec and Mayan cultures, believed to open the heart chakra, heighten awareness, inspire creativity, and support meditation.
